This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, access our marketing materials, or utilize our visual browser automation platform, including headless Chromium execution instances and unified reporting dispatchers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically through your use of the platform, and test runtime execution assets.

A. Personal Account Data

• Contact Information: Names, email addresses, and workspace profiles created when signing up or inviting team members.
• Billing Information: Payment details, credit card numbers, billing addresses, and transactional histories are processed securely via our third-party payment gateways (e.g. Stripe). We do not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.
• Credentials & Tokens: Hashed passwords, encrypted environment variables, and cryptographically signed Robot account API tokens used for continuous integration workflows.

B. Test Configurations & Metadata

• Test Step Definitions: Sequences of visual cards (click actions, text inputs, page assertions) that define your visual automation playbooks.
• Header Configurations: Custom request headers and cookies defined to manipulate session routing (e.g. preview environment tags) during test runs.

C. Test Run Artifacts & Execution Logs

When a test run executes in our cloud Chromium instances, the runner automatically captures:

• Trace Logs: Chronological console messages, request/response headers, status codes, and DOM event traces.
• Visual Media: Frame-by-frame video recordings (MP4) and snapshots (PNG) captured during execution to help you debug errors.
• Exception Logs: Raw stack traces parsed and translated by our plain-language error engine.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly to deliver and optimize our visual testing services, including:

• Provisioning headless browser clusters and executing your scheduled automation runs.
• Compiling test run histories and translating trace errors into readable plain-English logs.
• Routing real-time reports via Slack integrations, email alerts, or custom webhooks.
• Enforcing security controls, tracking workspace actions in the activity ledger, and managing subscriptions.
• Securing and segregating environment variables and target access tokens.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or monetize your personal details, test parameters, credentials, or visual recordings to third parties.

4. Data Retention & Automatic Expiry

We believe in minimizing data storage to protect your systems. We enforce the following retention schedule:

• Execution Media (Videos & Screenshots): Automatically deleted from our storage buckets upon expiration of your plan's retention period (7 days for Free, up to 180 days for Team plans).
• Logs & Traces: Automatically deleted or archived according to your workspace's configured logs retention policies.
• Workspace Configurations: Persisted as long as your workspace account is active. When a workspace is deleted, all associated test definitions, environment secrets, and credentials are permanently purged from our primary databases within 30 days.

5. Data Isolation & Subprocessors

We implement strict logical data isolation. Each customer workspace is segregated in the database schema, and test execution nodes run inside fully isolated virtual containers that are destroyed immediately after execution.

To deliver our services, we share specific data with trusted subprocessors under strict confidentiality agreements:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) for secure database storage, asset hosting, and serverless compute functions.
• Payment Processing: Stripe, for secure, compliant billing administration.
• Alert Delivery: Resend / Amazon SES for SMTP email routing.

6. Your Rights & Control (GDPR / CCPA)

Regardless of your geographical location, we respect your rights over your data. You are entitled to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we store about your account.
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete account and workspace profiles.
• Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): Request the permanent purge of your account, workspace, and test history from our active infrastructure.
• Portability: Export your test definitions and logs in a structured JSON format.

7. Security Incident Protocol

We implement industry-standard security safeguards. In the event of a confirmed data breach that impacts your workspace or secrets, we will notify you via the email address on file within 72 hours of incident confirmation, detailing the scope of the breach and recommended mitigation steps.
